You should learn to accept that you can't always find exactly the car you want, instead you should enjoy what is there. You want a small, lightweight FWD hot hatch? Try Abarth 500 or Alfa Mito. You want a track version of that? Try Abarth 500 AC. Very fun car to race
Because the Japanese pack was aimed at JDM fans, and there are many, many, many more cars with a higher priority in that regard.
I can't speak for Japan, but the Swift (and Suzuki in general) is really not that popular in Europe. And they really aren't that sporty either. They're not bad, but there are better choices, and tying in to my first point, there are many other cars that most people would rather have before they got to the Swift. The Swift is actually a pretty oddball car to request, I'm kind of surprised to see someone ask for it.
I guess in your life you dont see them but in mine they are everywhere and heavily modded running 300 HP on average.
Denmark has a huge Swift culture I have been to a few car meet ups and the rentals I saw in Nurenburg where super fast and fun. Swift is also very active in Rally. There are many people who would argue with you that swifts are popular or at the very least have a big car culture behind them. I do realise the Swift is not an ideal "sports car" and the younger immature crowd would not give the car any "street cred" as they say. Most peoples opinions are forged by Movies and Social Media. Before Fast and Ferrious no one except the Japanese wanted JDM cars. Suzuki never got the same type of plug in movies and social media so it never really cought on as part of the main known JDM cars. Every other person here in Germany is driving either BMW or Mercedes so I can understand why they would not look twice at a Suzuki. What we drive and own is always limited by budget and our economic situations. We cant all own 50-250,000 euro sports cars. Suzuki's are affordable cars easy to mod and there are endless parts for them making them a fun project car.
But what do I know when I lived in North America I custom built Jeeps for rock crawling. i was never into track cars or Rally till I moved to Germany.
