Here's the gameplan...if you want real time, 24-hour day and night cycle, custom weather and rain effects, full-on wipers & lights, advanced lighting and particles, the awesome new smoke mod, and a whole crapload of other visual and engine tweaks, do the following.

The first thing to do is get Content Manager by Ilja Jusupov. Ilja is a genius and has basically changed AC on a fundamental level. He has introduced all kinds of new things and Content Manager is the key. Once you have it, you will never go back to vanilla AC again. CM is the basis for tons of changes and the option to install additional apps to improve AC. You will need the full program to really get the most out of it. It's like 5 bucks if you donate.

Donate to download the full version of Content Manager. It's worth it. Do it. Install it. https://acstuff.ru/app/

Install the CSP through Content Manager...Go to Settings - Custom Shaders Patch - About & Updates...load the latest.

Download the Sol Mod: https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/sol.24914/

To install, extract all of the contents (minus the description file) to your AC folder.

Trust me on this. If you haven't done all that, you are missing out on what is slowly becoming THE best simulator on the market. For cheap.

Then check out all the awesome mods people have created on Racedepartment Join a few Facebook groups like Assetto corsa car mods and Assetto Corsa Mod Central 24/7 or check out websites like assettoland. There's a gazillion car and track mods for you to discover.

Played PC2 before and think Assetto is worth a chance for 6.99€ ;)
Bought Nordschleife also, because its a great Racetrack.

Looking forward for some good online-races. Mosts seem to be GT2, right?
