I'm unable to get the headlights and taillights working properly
Hi Guys, in AC i'm unable to get the headlights and tail lights work properly. When i run the game with whichever Sol versions that are available, i just see a patch of light on the front and back, but the brake and head lights do not light up. It was working fine before. May be i messed up with the shaders patch. And Sol too isn't working as expected. The day and night cycles are messed up.

Please help!

I saw a mention where they were hoping to integrate the SOL into CM same as CSP which will be a sight for sore eyes.

You have to go back to the recommended patch. I reckon it is 0.1.25 preview49

Still the same. Any other recommendations?

Did you play with the settings in Custom Shader Patch > Lighting FX? ie Car casting lights number showing.

I had the night and day thing totally messed up when I updated the SOL to latest version and inside some cars went to a very bright white look. I couldn't say much about the headlights due to the distraction from the dashboard being 110'000 lumens Used CM>About Updates>Auto update to recommended versions - to revert back to the recommended one and it worked. I noticed others have had the same issue with various results.

To be frank i tried this option on CM several times changing it to different versions, but still the same. May i know which Sol version you're using??

Do you use 32 bit version? If yes it's normal and can't change it
s494r Jun 13, 2019 @ 6:32am
No, its 64-bit version. What''s the point?

SOL 1.1.1 was a good one but I don't know that it is actually the SOL app causing the issue. I did install SOL 1.2.3 but it recommended using Custom Shader Patch 1.25.139 which I did and lost my sky and everything went pear shaped from there. I reverted back to CSP 0.1.25 Preview49 and it seems to work really good. Just to confirm this was the case I just reloaded CSP 1.25.139 and it was UGLY UGLY UGLY and totally unusable for me.

so you're using Sol 1.2.3 with CSP 1.25.49 correct?

If you got CM then you can drag and drop the zip on the 3 bars at the top right and CM will sort it out for you. It will just ask you if you want to update the files once it figure SOL is already installed.

One of my faves was SOL 1.1.1 with the 0.1.25 Preview49 but at least drag and drop the versions is a lot less stuffing around testing. I am not even sure if you are allowed to put links here but..........

I noticed something in CM while trying to rescue my wheel stuff up. Content Manager > Settings > Assetto Corsa > Patch then up top of list Car > under the high/low beam it has Extra Light 4 options A-D Check that out if you are getting nowhere.
