G29 Shifter Help

Hello, I recently got a g29 with a shifter. I downloaded this game and I cant figure out how to use the shifter with it. Ive googled it and did the wizard setup. It just doesn't let me use it even though I have the clutch set up with it.

You've got the drivers (aka Logitech Gaming Software) installed?

Assign your paddles as well. Any car that has paddles/sequential shifter in the real world will use your paddles and any car with a h-shifter will use the h-shifter.

Are you driving a manual car? You can only use H-shifter with manual cars. Automatic gears and automatic clutch off?

You also have 6th gear bound as reverse, and paddles not assigned

I have? Im trying to use a H shifter with this game. Everything works expect the shifter.

Manual and I can't find where those serttings are. Also Why do i need paddles if Im shifting with my H shifter, and I have have 6 gears thats why I have that as reserve.

I'm trying to only use my shifter though, not my paddle. I have a logitch shifter connect.

you still need to set the paddles up. only cars with manual shifters in the car model itself work with your shifter. also make sure that you assigned it properly. your 1st gear isnt assigned as 1st gear in the shifter is button 12 and 6th gear is button 17

Use google to find out, I could explain but you should learn to find out information on your own. I'm pretty sure that when you turn them off, it'll work if you really are in a manual car.

OK where is Reserve? I see 1-6 but wheres reserve?

reverse is when you press down the shifter and put it into 6st gear
