HowTo: Mix mouse + gamepad

Hey guys,

I have a question about the controllers' configuration. I'm a disabled person and I can't use a racing-wheel to play AC but I play racing games for the last 15 yrs. It all started with LFS and I loved it literally... ;-)

My problem with AC is, that I can't combine the mouse-steering with my gamepad. All I want to do is:

Drive to the left = moving mouse to the left
Drive to the right = moving mouse to the right

and

Throttle = push left analog-stick of gamepad forward
Brake = pull left analog-stick of gamepad back

Is this combination possible on any way?

I didnt tries it myself, but it looks promising.
I drove with Mouse/Keyboard in the freegame BMW M3 Challenge some years ago. Hope you will have some fun in AC!

This needs to be answered for Assetto corsa, despite beamng has already done that. How to get this to work i think inputs combined in Assetto needs to be a thing.

just past 8 years since your question and nobody ancwered you, but i have to ask. do you know to do that, because im searching this for months how to use keyboard and controler at same time, and i didnt get any answers, thank you.

does not work in AC . too old of an engine.

you need add Content Manager AC to add non steam game and before you play Right Click Content Manager > Properties > Controller > Enable Steam Input , is working for AC using Gamepad and Mouse , and play Content Manager from steam
