Online lag at start of sessions

For a few months now I have the following problem when playing in an online server:

As soon as the session ends, and it moves to the next session, I get a massive amount of network lag.
For the first ~15 seconds, I see no change in session details (e.g. weather has changed), and the player list has no pings.
Then I get about 90 seconds of intense lag, where I see cars drifting sideways while driving, or I get randomly bumped into a car that ghosts in and out of existence.

After a while it settles down, but I might be heavily damaged by these cars that I couldn't avoid, and of course they might be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about me.

I've tried resetting my router settings to default, and I deleted the game and redownloaded it.

Anyone have a similar issue, and maybe a fix?

I think i have a similar issue... Everytime a new session starts it says server seems to be unavaivable... After a few minutes it comes back, but race have already started so im missing it anyway.... It happens not in all servers but quite a lot for me. Still dont know how to fix...

Yes, I have the same issue. On the top of the screen is a bar with the same message. Frustrating!

You guys should go to the official forums and make a thread along with adding log files and info regarding your pc specs and internet connection. The devs there can take a look but you wont get any official support here.

I think I solved it - I reset my network DNS according to this video : https://youtu.be/BO0MYuc6GkM?si=0yTMK5EX3W05vKKm and haven't had it happen since :)
