Hori racing wheel apex support

Is the Hori racing wheel apex going to receive support? When I try to make it work, the pedals are only recognised as an axis (both at the same time, nope) and the shifters are useless (only the right one is recognised as an xbox button...) In the box under the wheels its name appears, but it doesnt work properly at all. I can make it work with a mix of wheel and buttons on the xbox controller, menu, but it feels uncomforteble and, well, stiff. Yes, I know it´s not the best wheel for such a game, but is the one I have.

make sure the toggle switch is in the middle for PS4-S mode. I believe after I did that it calibrated/setup correctly. Under wheel/custom steering 256 degrees of rotation. also the manual has good instructions for correcting the dead zone and sensitivity. I have a DFGT at home,but while at girlfriends I was getting angry lol so I suggested she buying me a wheel and she got the Hori. So after trial and error I seem to have it set up for AC and go into a state of calm now :) this is used for game on my laptop

Hi. Thanks for the answer. I set the wheel in PS4-s and, as I stated, I managed it to work. But some of the functions don’t work as expected. Can you push both pedals at the same time and the game recognises the pressure on both? I gas or brake, but or one or another. And the shifters are both the “A” of the controller, so they both shift up, doesn’t matter what i do. The most of the buttons are impossible to map from the wheel menu, but some of them (not all) can be assigned in the controller menu. For example, i shift up whit the manette and I shift down with the “x” and so on... the game is playable, and I love it, but I’d like to enjoy it better. Btw, the wheel hasn’t got fbb, but the vib function works very well. It’s strong and transmits nice feelings.

ok also make sure the other toggle switch is set to "DP" then I would go to your controller config in windows and calibrate there, after that then the "config wizard"in game then try to map some buttons. My steering works, throttle and brake are seperate and shifters work. I have some buttons mapped for change view, pit limiter etc but notall buttons on wheel arnt being used

Thanks. I’m on it. But gas and brake are still in the same axis. Don’t know why... does the game recognise your wheel in the controllers box in anyway? Mine says apex controller, but it looks more like a normal controller. I’ll do what you say in the windows setup. In dirt rally it works smooth and great (only had to change the native sensibility of the wheel to light blue position).

In game mine is highlighted red for wheel/custom and yes it says apex controller. It's been a few months since setting it up and do believe I saved a new preset and never had to re-configure it. Right now its being used for the ps3 for the kids and will connect to AC soon and see

I'm on windows 8.1. [PS4-S] [DP]
In game controller right click properties.
Throttle/Brake on Z axis.
Steering only moves with "+" going left and right.
Right shifter #3 button.
Left shifter #1 button.

Then in game wheel/custom is highlighted.
throttle/brake "combined" is checked(I thought it was seperate, its my other wheel that is)
"invert" is checked for throttle
then map shifter etc
save it

Well. I did all the steps. I checked on windows 10. Everything seems ok. I reset the wheel too and now the wheel is detected even the paddles but nothing more. Only gas, brake (just like you, combined) shifters and steer. The rest of the buttons can’t be mapped. No matter what I do. Even if I assign them to the controller there is no response. Aaahh. I had a red light over my share button, now is off... thanks for your support but think I’m going to give up... 😅😅

Think I’ve got it! Finally! Now I don’t have to use the controller mapping. It now recognises my buttons. The point is that all the axis are identified as sliders (dp, ls and rs) so that’s why I couldn’t map them to an individual tap. Thanks for your help, it’s nice to find people who cares!! Hope this could help any with the same problem. It’s a budget wheel but it works quite well.

Buenas! Tengo el mismo problema en asetto corsa competizione, que hiciste para que te los reconociese en distintos ejes tio? Los dos pedales aceleran y frenan a la vez y no puedo correr ni nada.

Hola... pues hace ya bastante tiempo que no lo conecto, pero es una autentica lotería. Una posible solución, que yo creo que hace que a mi me funcione bien es instalar el input mapper y que lo reconozca como un mando de xbox 360. Por probar no pierdes nada. Y perdona por tardar tanto en contestar, ultimamente me conecto muy poco.
