Can you even drift with a controller in this game?

I don't have a wheel/set-up but I want this game for drifting and the mods. How difficult is it to drift with a controller in this game and are there controller settings that can help out with the handicap of having only a controller?

Of course it is, you just need a wireless adapter or a wired controller...

from my experience, no you cannot drift with a controller unless you buy the console version and play on console

I've seen people doing it with controller after they messed with the settings I guess. So it;s possible just a lot more difficult.

Drifting is totally different without force feedback. Get forza or nfs if you just want to see your cars get sideways. Get a ffb wheel if you want to learn the skill. btw live for speed is great for drifting with mouse

extremely difficult the controller is simply too sensitive you would pretty much have to drift lock to lock the entire time to drift with the controller

you could use stability control and abs but be warned servers can choose to have assists on or off so if you want to play multiplayer I wouldn't recommend this game
