Oculus Rift CV1 Tracking "Problem"
I recently bought the CV1 as an upgrade to my DK2 and it is a nice and noticable difference.
One issue I have been getting is, when I look to the right my headposition moved forwards toward the steering wheel, but when I look back the head goes into the head rest. This didn't happen on the DK2.
Additional info:
Dual sensor on each corner of desk, equally spaced away from my driving position.
Both sensors are plugged into USB 2.0 as with 3.0 they didn't register.
Headset itself is plugged into 3.0 with HDMI directly to GPU.

Thanks in advance :steerme:

Open Oculus Home. Go to devices and whilst there load up AC, put finger over the sensor to turn it on and then replicate the issue and watch the devices to see if you notice any errors or red or yellow triangle warning pops up on any of the devices, headset or trackers.

If you have curtains, close them, reduce reflective surfaces and turn any bright lights down or off.

Done that test now with no difference in this tracking problem. FYI, I have done the sensor setup successfully and haven't moved them since, as Oculus suggests not to do.

It's because you're not doing what the instructions said to do.

There are sensors for the desk and there are built in gyro's and other stuff in the head set. At the moment the headset is only operating.

If you don't plug the desktop sensors into a USB 3.0 port they won't work and the Oculus experience will suffer.

There is no option but to plug them into USB 3.0, the transfer rate is almost 4x that of USB 2.0
If you don't have enough ports then go buy an expansion card.

DO NOT USE 2.0 tranfer rate is 16mb compared to 50ish on USB 3.0

This is what I see when I plug both sensors into 3.0 ports.
Could you guide me through how to fix this, please?

Code is a power problem. Are you using USB extender cable . Try setting up one sensor at a time, maybe try changing some USB setting in motherboard bios. My be if you're using front USB on case not as good as it should be.

Right now I had a look into the BIOS and nothing signaled that the 3.0 ports were off or slowed down.
One sensor is directly connected to the MB, the other is connected on a front port.
I only have two rear USB 3.0 ports, so I cannot have both plugged in there as I need one for the headset itself.
Even if I unplug the sensor that is connected to the front port and try to calibrate the that is plugged in to the rear, it still doesn't work.
I have also tried unplugging unused USB connectors (incl. Steering wheel, Joystick and headset all at once)
Anything else that could be done?

maybe try device setting in windows and removing then plug them back in . could try uninstalling usb controller in device manager then reset computer.

Plug everything in as per oculus instructions (put both sensors in the front if you have two 3.0's up there) and then run the oculus setup .exe and select [Repair] Be ready to don the headset and complete the sensor setup through the guided process.

I removed both sensors in the Device Settings now, but still doesn't like it.
Which exact ones do I have to uninstall in the Device Manager?

After doing what you said, there still wasn't a difference :(

Let's see if the sensors are recognized in oculus software. open Oculus and click the gear Icon at the top. Select settings and then Devices. Do you see the sensors on that page, and to they have a green dot?

Did you take the protective plastic film off the new sensors. Are the pointing forward?
NIKKI IXX Nov 4, 2017 @ 9:40am
Do not uninstall your usb controller!

The Back of the sensor has the Oculus logo.
