Full screen and resolution problems
When I run the game in Fullscreen all I get is a tiny box in the middle of the screen with a thick black boarder.

If I run it in windowed mode I get a small window in the middle of the screen.
The good thing is, I am able to maximise the window, but the bad thing is, the resolution increases. I need to run at 720p to get to 60 fps. When the game is in its maximized window, according to my steam screenshots, the game is at 1920x1003. This resolution only gets me 30-35 fps.

Is there a way to run at 720p Fullscreen without the extra thicc black boarders? Like 720p stretched to fit the screen or something?

Extra info:
This problem only affects this game, no other game I have has this problem.

My display is 1920x1080

Try..... Documents \ Assetto Corsa \ cfg \ launcher....... open with notepad, set WIDTH= and HEIGHT= to the 720 x whatever you want, then save and launch game.

I have the same problem. Some people said to use the display scaling feature of my AMD Radeon Settings, but that does nothing here.

Any progress on this, AFR0N1?
I managed it setting my TV (I run AC in a laptop) to the desired resolution (1366x768), then pressing Alt+Enter while on track. This makes the game run in the selected resolution and also the selected FPS (67). Otherwise it just forces my TV to 1920x1080 at 60hz.

Yeah, I discovered that the game runs at 50-60 fps in Fullscreen 1080p but runs at 30-40fps in windowed mode. I was pretty surprised by that.
So I'm currently playing in Fullscreen 1080p.
I would prefer to play at around 900p Fullscreen and increase a few settings and maintain 60fps. But I'm still getting those black borders if I do.
So for now I'm still playing 1080p Fullscreen, almost at the lowest settings.
Have you tried what I wrote in my second comment?

For clarity: Set your video resolution (Windows) setting to the desired resolution before running AC. Then, run AC and choose the desired resolution from Options>Video. Go to track and after the car is rendered, press Alt+Enter. Now it stays on that desired resolution without black borders. It's a horrible process, but it works here.

Go download Hotkey Resolution Changer to make this loads easier.

What is the solution for the following problem?

After selecting car ,track and choosing opponents I click Start Engine or click Start, game begins to load cars then few seconds later screen goes black and it says Loading but then it returns to previous menu??

I'm losing the will to live with this game tried everything I can think of regarding checking monitor settings etc

Any advice would be extremely useful. Thanks in advance

*Solved
Steamapps/common/assettocorsa
Open "Launcher configuration settings" in Notepad : edit to FULLSCREEN=0 save changes
Open "Video config settings" (same location as above) in Notepad

Change FULLSCREEN=0

Game should launch in windowed mode this sorted my problem, as long as you make in game settings run in Fullscreen mode it will switch to fullscreen when race starts 👍

I just press the windows button and then open a minimized Chrome tab (can be any other tab) then the game goes to full screen with the chrome tab open. Just click the background (which is the pit stop screen) then it works perfectly at full screen at a lower resolution.

Method 1: (Casual Fix)
Use "Alt + Enter"

Method 2: (Recommended for High End PC)
Set resolution to your native resolution. Mine is 1920 x 1080

Method 3: (Recommended for Navidia users)
Use your graphic control panel. A lot of people explaining this one on internet, so I will pass this.

Method 4: (Recommended for mods and Potato PC)
Use Assetto Corsa Content Manager[acstuff.ru]. This also improve gameplay and others.
