Another one that bugs me is- no driver labels- Not having them makes it really hard to ID goofballs in need of kicking. There are so many people in VR now that it's impossible to police the servers. Everyone in VR pretty much has blinders on and are forced to ignore the keyboard when they are driving.
I need to do a search and see if anyone has started a VR wish list lately, There were a couple in the early days, but for primitive stuff like true Stereo 3D and Car Setup access. I think the most important update will be stereo mirrors, but the hidden Flag issue is in the top 5 for sure.
Good post.
You can download it from thecrewchief.org
Or, if you can read, read my first reply and give up wasting time on this. Too late! Or- Like Haiden suggested- Realize that [assuming you can turn your head] It's' not a real game breaker. Are you going to be the only guy in AC who slows down for yellow flags? You have my permission to ignore them. Are you going to block the faster guy behind you and not bother to check for a blue flag just because you have to turn your head?- Then blame it on the poor Vr implementation? Better hope it's not me in your mirror!
You will get used to it- about the time they[for more realism] remove them from VR all together, forcing you to look at the marshals.
"I think the most important update will be stereo mirrors, but the hidden Flag issue is in the top 5 for sure.
Good post." <--------!
and basically agreed with me on everything, and now you attacking me because I criticized some guy called BetaGunner who posted same thing as previous poster without even reading any previous posts. What is your problem? noone was attacking you.
Also like I said CrewChief is not a solution just a workaround and not so basically easy because you have to download lot of ♥♥♥♥♥ and configure it which takes a lot of time as I ALREADY DID.
Wow, I have your permission to ignore yellow flags? Well Sir, mighty humble of you! FYI main main concern are blue flags and not blocking guy laping me not that happens often but anyway.
I KNOW I CAN TURN MY HEAD TO SEE THE FLAG BUT TO DO SO I FIRSTLY HAVE TO KNOW IF THERE IS ANY FLAG TO LOOK AT! You understand now? I don't see any notification because I ussually focus on the road and for example car in front of me? I don't know about you but I don't constantly check my left corner of the screen if there is any flag there! Yes it is poor choice in this implementation of VR and they should change the placement of the flag indicator, that's all.
Also I downoaded new set of flags and provided a link to them and now I can see at least a part of the flag in my perifferial SO I CAN TURN MY HEAD AND LOOK AT IT. Thanks everyone very much for nothing I guess. Case closed.
Get a grip man!
Blue flags are not shown to faster cars; they are shown to cars on the tail end of the field, or previously lapped cars, cars on an out-lap in qualli, and cars not in the timed race.
The only time I see Blue flags is when I join a server mid race or when I'm on an out lap, in which case I stay out of everyone's way, as you are supposed to, and never need to check the flags. You can choose to yield to faster cars out of respect and courtesy, as it sounds like you may do already- kudos! But you will not see a flag for that.
You can ask BetaGunner, and I'm sure he can stick up for himself; But I don't think he was offering new information as much as he was giving a second opinion on, and a review of, previously given info. But either way- his smile emot didn't dissuade you from doging him out!
Dont' act so Trumpish toward people you don't know, or expect more of this. It's offensive!
Thank you Reverend Snapyourheadoff- Nice contribution!
It looks like you found a way around your problem, so go practice.
No its not. We are not telling to buy another machine capable of gaming, are we?
We're literally just saying to download a free program which even if you didn't care about flags, is a very good program to use for VR.
You won't get it until you start using CrewChief.
