Multiplayer progression?

Is there any kind of ranking/reward system for online races, or when you win you just receive a clap and move on?

I'm on the fence and don't know if i should buy AC or PC. I'm looking more for any kind of progression system for multiplayer rather than better simulation or graphics. Advices?

In AC, if you want some kind of online progression you'll need to join a league, or Race Department or Sim Racing System, or the likes...

You could always buy a box of chocolates and when you get first place online you could eat one =/. I sugguest you do it with a beer though.

Lots of us also run two free apps- "Minorating" http://www.minorating.com/ which gives you a driver rating/grade and is used by top servers to separate the good drivers and wreckers,(It works to some extent to keep it fair and clean) and RSR Live Timing http://www.radiators-champ.com/RSRLiveTiming/ which shows your fastest laps compared to others running the app. (set World Records)
If you put all this together,(with above post) it's kind of like IRacing [w/o fees].

Or the true Assetto reward system- Practice 1500+hrs, become an Alien, quali 1st, and when everyone behind you piles up in the first turn, you have an empty track to yourself :-/
