create custom driver

hello!
right now i got an idea.
what if i create my custom driver for f1 cars?
the only problem is i pretty much don't know anything about modding, so if anyone could explain me how to create a driver (i mean creating a custom helmet and make my name appear on the preview of the car) and what programs should i use, that would be really helpful!

Hey, there are many tutorials on youtube to this topic.

You can find the template for the drivers suit, gloves and so on at ...\Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\sdk\dev\skin_templates.

Personally, I use Gimp2 for making skins, it's free.

You can add your name, nr, ... by editing the ui_skin.json in the skin folder of your car.

edit: Take a look at http://www.racedepartment.com/forums/assetto-corsa.130/ they have a mod section too. There you can find any info or ask any question you have :-)
