Supra MK4 does not drift?

The only cars I seem to to fantastically drift with are the AE86 and the E30, other than that I CAN'T seem to do absolutely anything with the Supra, when I'm sideways around an apex I slam the gas pedal and I get the underwhelming power output that simply is not enough to complete the drift.

I feel like there's a limiter or I'm missing something in the tuning system, what do I do?

I'm guessing it's the turbo lag. AE86 and E30 are both naturally aspirated.

What version of the supra are you trying to drift?
The drift version definately has enough power to even get the semislicks going easily.

I just assume using the second verson of the Japanese DLC, It's "Supra MKIV Drift" specifically would be optimal for drifting joyrides, clearly not the case in my current situation.

The supra drifts fine just practice. So does the 1jz 180sx

No problems difting the Supra MKIV Drift. I don't do much drifting although it seems reasonably easy with this car after a bit of practice. Be sure to have traction control, stability control disabled, everything but auto clutch and blip.

Definitely sounds like you have TC enabled. I've never had an issue sliding round in the MKIV

Yes sorry for the fuss this whole time I had Traction control on, for anyone having this issue just press Ctrl+T to turn off TC for smooth drifts and satisfactory RPMs.

Switching to street tires might yield better drifting as well, perhaps even the 90s vintage tires.
