Sound through headphones (PC) - how to change - help please
Id like to have the sounds of AC come through my headphones/headset rather than through the speakers attached to the PC.

In the options menu i cant see where to adjust this. Does anyone know how or where to change this setting?

This is done in Windows Audio options.

Then change it when you use AC, then change it back when you are finished with AC...... it takes 3 seconds to do it.

Unfortunatly pretty much all games only use the windows selcted defualt audio device.
It should'nt be like this imo but anyway..
If you using teampeask, skype or some aother voice program usually they do allow to set as diferent device.

I can't think of any game to date that allows selection of another audio-device in game.

Teamspeak isn't a game, its an audio communication software, so its expected to be able to change and select audio devices- this is not something games are required to need when Wndows controls your audio devices.

If you have headphones plugged in, they should be using the active audio device and can be used without changing the default audio device- unless you are using USB headphones in which case thats down to you to select the default audio device in Windows.

Use the in game audio app, at the bottom of the window it lists the devices you have connected, select the device and then select "set audio driver", you will then need to restart the game from the race and viola you have the device you want in game

What he said.

Very handy feature but it does mean heading back to the launcher and then joining the race again - for me at least.
