Turn off pit presets for keyboard?
Is there any way to do it? Or remove it from the game?

Alien Identity from this forum told me how to do it but the method is only working with controllers. I kinda miss trackday servers with my friend and he is thinking of uninstalling right now, lol.

**Any salty message about him using keyboard will be ignored, he is doing better than most of the wheel users, thanks.**

Look for the "default" ini file, and add the text "DPAD_INDEX_OVERRIDE=0" without the quote marks, below the heading [ADVANCED] and save the changes (if there is no such heading then add it, leaving a blank line before the heading)

ini file is in location This pc\Documents\Assetto Corsa\cfg\controllers\presets\default

[HEADER]
INPUT_METHOD=KEYBOARD

[ADVANCED]
DPAD_INDEX_OVERRIDE=0

That's what he added and it's still here...

For keyboard it needs to be added to the default ini file..... has he added it to the default ini file in the controllers folder?

For xbox360 controller it needs to be added to the xb360 ini file in the controllers folder.

Also, it will still show in the pits, but will not be activated by the arrow keys while driving.

Got it fixed by going into system/cfg/pitstop.ini

[SETTINGS]
USE_MOUSE_PITSTOP=0
VISIBILITY_MAX_TIME=0 (that value was set on 5)
ITEM_FONT_SCALE=0
STAY_IN_CAR=0
AUTO_APP_ON_PITLANE=0

I will add a guide later if I have time and motivation, lol.

I've seen too much players having that annoying menu popping up
