Help me please!!! Mods are not working.

Mods don't work for me. I have installed mods many different ways, none of them work. It says "error cannot find lods.ini" It does that for everycar, I reinstalled the mods, and even the game, it still does this! Help me!

only thing i can think of is you put them into the wrong folder. and just to be sure:
lets take the "Ford Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca" from racedepartment.
download the zip and open it. copy the "a3dr_boss302_laguna_seca" and the "a3dr_boss302_laguna_seca_650" folder and copy them into "steamapps/common/assettocorsa/content/cars". that should be it and after restarting tthey should be drriveable.

and just to be sure since this extreme strange, we are not talking about "User\documents\assettocorsa\content\cars", right?

The steps I take are these
1. Download Mod.
2. Open Winrar file of mod to unzip.
3. Drag files from winrar to the cars folder inside of content.
4. Open Assetto Corsa, I can see the car but when I hit start it gives me the error.

lods.ini is file located in each mod cars "data" folder. You are getting this error for everything single car you attempt to drive or a specific car ?

It happens for any car I download, and I checked Lods is the file.

I would recommend you remove all mod car folders from the cars folder then add each one back one at a time to determine the issue. This is a prime example as to why you shouldnt install mods all at once. Good luck !

When I unzip a mod I get a folder in a folder..... sometimes even another folder.

Make sure to install the folder with all the car mod files in it..... not a folder that has another folder in it that has the car mods in it.

I didn't install mods all at once, and I have tried deleting all the mods, redownloading the game, nothing works.

Trying to use jsgme is the only thing i can think of what could help.

I didn't install mods all at once, and I have tried deleting all the mods, redownloading the game, nothing works.

thats the prroblem! put the mods into "Program Files x86 \ steam \ SteamApps \ common \ assettocorsa \ content \ cars \". where all the other stock cars are.

That folder should be empty

This is where cars should be placed

Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\content\cars
