Are you serious? Don't tell me you're one of those Americans who likes
watching slow ugly cars race in a circle... *cough* NASCAR *cough*

Nah, but really, you enjoy watching that trash? What's so cool about it? The crashes?
Even GP2 is better than that, even Formula 4 races are more exciting lol

I don't watch Nascar. It's never been my thing. I wasn't the original comment poster, btw

This is an absolute turd of a comment. There's some really fun factors in oval racing especially when you amp up the laps to 100+ laps and full sim damage and a full lobby of players.

I used to play GT5 this way and it was a blast racing for a full hour and winning because I raced smart and kept an eye on my tires and by maintaining decent lines and drafting

LOL "GT5 - full sim damage".

No, and it will probably never be implemented. There aren't even any decent working mods of ovals or oval cars. I'd say just get iRacing if you want really high quality oval racing, but obviously that's out of some peoples price range. Other options are rFactor 1 and 2 (although its not very good for ovals), or going oldschool with NR2003. It's kind of sad that there hasn't been a decent standalone oval racing sim in 15 years.

Oval racing requires a different kind of finesse and consistency that road racing requires. The strategies are different. And honestly I find there to be much more action all around. But if it's not your thing, then it's not your thing. No need to be a ♥♥♥♥.

Better than being one of those with their heads completely up their ARSE.

Thank you for the reply. I'm done with iRacing so I'm looking for something new. rFactor 2 was the other one on my list to check out but you said that;s not good either.

NR2003 you have to go through all kinds of hoops to get running, not worth it. Guess I'm just stuck with my racing set up collecting dust in my closet. Really sad that we can't get a decent oval racing game anymore.

To everybody else in this thread, grow up, and by the way, running ovals in iRacing is 10 times harder than road courses for getting licenses and iRating, proven fact.

Check out simraceway they are the only sim I know of that has good selection of oval tracks outside of nascar 2003 and iracing of course.

Hasn't that shutdown ages ago?

my two cents.....you can say what you want about oval racing but the fact is, that without the indianapolis motor speedway which is mostly known as an oval circuit even thought it has a "road track", motorsport as we known would be vastly different
