Can't go back to menu after rivals

I'm wondering if others have experienced the same problem.
After I completed a rivals event, the game shows me my best time. Then it shows the opponent's time. As it should.
However the game gets stuck at the opponent's time. I press (A) to continue, but nothing happens. It doesn't progress, it seems to be stuck.
Anyone else have had this happen? Or is it just due to my harddrive?

I'm having exactly the same problem today as well, and have to say ghost cars don't appear to be loading up either.....very very annoying. Back to EA WRC I go...

Did you get to the bottom of the issue/resolve it?

This happens me 50% of the time.

It happens to me at normal gameplay, after the race completed, it shows all the results pages fine, then it stuck at exiting the race and never able to go back to the menu.
