controller steering feels like crap

is it just me or does the controller steering on this game feel like complete crap? the vehicles just feel like a brick and dont turn, like the game is limiting the steering angle so you cant corner good. feels bad in normal or sim settings, but ever so slightly better in sim. i know a wheel would be 1000% better, but im not setting up a wheel at my computer desk.

You can change the steering and how it feels, I can't remember the name of that settings sorry, but It will have some dampening effects to help with control on some play styles, Got another I think is simulation, some people like it, but it don't have any dampening but can be a pain with faster already unstable vehicles.

Other than that I personally think its fine and maybe even one of the better ones with controller for more of a casual like me.
