Can't build a car for fun

Leveling up the cars for parts was one of the worst developmental decisions for the game the devs have ever made. Not being able to build a fun car to go fast in or building out a drift car without doing pointless races is horrible. I am level 200 and I cant build 90% of the cars I have. Never buying another Forza again if this feature stays constant.
