Black objects and disappearing textures possible fix (nvidia only)
I was tinkering in control panel and set texture filtering lod to 'clamp' is was set to 'allow' The very next track began with the black road texture bug here and there and next lap trackside objects began to disappear.I reverted it to 'allow' and after many restarts the problem has not returned.. rtx3090 user here,so this may only be of use to nvidia users to try for themselves....

I've also tried the tracks I was having 100% issues with and they seem fine now too.The clamp setting must affect texture filtering from the engine in a negative way causing the bug to appear.... I going to post on forza.net if this helps others as well...

Thankyou soo much buddy, i can now see the tracks and i can now go compete online and do rivals

Now to think of a livery for the rear of my car, To prevent getting rammed
More than welcome man. Some of us are enjoying the game for what we got and have been frantically adjusting settings to get it to work.I slowed down and wrote down what settings were doing what and low and behold I found what was causing my texture problems.I needed someone to test it and you seemed to do an excellent job of testing the setting. So glad it helped you Bud,see you online soon..... get doing those rivals too!

Congratulations Quick 420 you just saved half the community heartache before the devs did

Do you have any fixes for Progressions Saves, Progression locks, Inifinte loading screens , upgrades loops or cant play cause stuck at splash screen?
Pass the word around,I will make a post on Forza.net linking our findings..... It should be an easy thing to add to the upcoming patch if I can get their attention quickly enough...
I was'nt having this problem, but came here just to say congrats for finding the solution, hope the devs will see this.
Many thanks
I might give this a try. It seems to be very sporadic for me. Some nights it seems to happen in every other race, while other days it doesn't happen at all. Tonight for example it only happened while I was viewing a replay, but never in the practices or races I did. Hopefully your solution isn't just coincidental.
2070 super here , tried the fix and it made it worse :/
I have the problem and LOD isn’t on/never was on clamp.
I don’t get it, mine was already set to allow, are you saying to set it to clamp, launch, and then back to allow?
I started using my laptop as an AFK grinder for carlevels yesterday. What i noticed is, that if i activate the power saving mode that reduces the performance of the laptop by i don't know maybe 75% or something. Then the textures started to dissapear and i had less than 20 FPS in 1080p. If i kept it at max performance mode, the game ran well at 58-70 FPS and there were no dissapearing textures. Because i did let the car drive with all assists to AFK farm xp, i just didn't care about the texture bug, i let it happen for like 20 minutes. But sadly the game crashed then. When i let if AFK farm again, but in performance mode i had to live with the noise the coolers do, but the game didn't have textures bugs and it didn't crash.

TL:DR it has something to do with the performance of the computer, it's not all caused by the game itself. If that would be a software problem, i would have got the texture problem in performance mode too.

Ergo don't run the game in power saving mode. Activate max performance in windows and in the Nvidia/AMD control panel etc.

Edit: It has NOTHING to do with "Clamp" or "Allow" in the Nvidia Control Panel.

That is the laptop i used: Windows 11 Home, MSI GL63 9SFK-1001DE (39,6 cm/15,6 Inch/144Hz) Gaming-Laptop i7-9750H, 16 GB DDR4 2666 MHZ RAM, Western Digital Blue 512 GB NVMe + Seagate 1TB HDD, Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070
The game used Direct Storage if that matters.

where is this setting
Nvidia Control Panel - 3D Settings - Global Settings - Texture Filtering - Negative LOD bias

But it has to be set to Clamp simply because if you use Anistropic Filtering ingame at 16x, you set it to Clamp. If you use AF you use Clamp that's how it is.

The OP clearly has no idea what he is talking about and just had typical placebo effects.

3090 here. Either Clamp or allow this still happens. Am I missing something?

No you don't because the OP has no idea.
