Came across my first cheater.

I came across this dude, lower PI rating, slamming my qualify time by over 2 seconds. (KTM GT2 Playlist)

I raced against him twice, the first time was around nurburgring, he just flew away from me on the straights, but I slightly gained on corners (not enough to make a difference). I didn’t think much of it, as my KTM wasn’t fully upgraded at the time.

I end up in a lobby with him again, racing around Hakune circuit, he starts in first place, and drives normally for 7/8 laps, I’ve got him by a 4.5 second lead. Then, I start seeing that number drop rapidly throughout the lap until he’s right behind me on the final straight.

I ask him how he caught up so fast (because my tires were still fine) and he made up this blatant lie saying “Hard tires”. This man ONLY started catching up on the last lap. No way he had that much grip all of a sudden on hard tires.

Nah, nuh-uh, I don't buy it for a second.

Nope. No one cares about leaderboards except console teen emos, but the thing is you have S class etc in A class events.

i tried many tunes.
now on e class is a cheater with a pi rating of 268 with a mx-5 from 1990.
i tried many tunes and upgrades to pi 300 and i am 16 Seconds off.
wtf if going on here?

rivals is no fun. i would really like to play rivals with the same upgrades, same car and same tune.
what else is this for?

There are obviously some glitches, bugs, or cheat software being used in online. I am not a great driver, I don't even consider myself to be good, but I probably have more ;aps around Watkin's Glen short than ought to be legally permissible, and have a top 300 time for the track- so it's fair to say I might know a bit about what is possible in a class there. I was running my 73 911 (not fast, but I like driving it) I qualified with a 1:23.9- pretty respectable for a slow car, but there were four guys with 1:04-1:08 times, and several with 1:10 to mid teens. The mid teens I might buy, with an extremely skilled driver, but the 1:0X runs are simply not possible in B class, and definitely not possible on "stock" tires. I hope that Turn10 gets a handle on this pretty quick, because between the state of the game in general and all the stability issues, the last thing they need is cheaters ruining the only game mode that made the game worth it to a lot of players.
If there's ANYTHING that playing GTA online has taught me, it's that nothing ruins a game faster than cheaters being allowed to do whatever they want.
