How to drive formula Mazda?

Im legit at my wits end with this car. I dont know how to fcking drive it. I push on Mid Ohio Full circuit like hell and only get a 1:30 lap time (series spec tune). No matter how I change the setup it just ends up beeing the same lap time more or less. At online races I saw times at 1:27 or sometimes below and after 1 hour of driving the track I just dont even get close to it. Im just so frustrated. I got no problems with GT cars but open wheel seems to be my doom. Just wanted to vent.

Mazda is momentum based, Use less of your brakes and spend more time coasting. Around Mid-Ohio i can easily get the thing into the 25's.

This. I know that I'm an average racer at best so I don't expect to dominate or be close to the top. As long as you know you've done your best I wouldn't sweat it.
