Side note, ray tracing is poorly optimized and caused some micro-stuttering so for now I have that off. I average 90-130fps with almost all settings maxed at 1440p ultrawide and am having more fun with a racing game than I have had in problem over 20 years.
I wish you the best and sincerely hope you get it to work so you can see for yourself if you like the game or not.
It's possible there is a leak as stated by others, however, we need to keep in mind the VRAM usage displayed in game is what ONLY the game is using. So, if it says 5,5 out of available 6 per example you are certainly going above it, since your PC us probably using extra 1-2 GB even at idle for background things like Steam, Windows and other software.
You can check this in task manager and check Performance tab then your GPU section. Then you will see your dedicated GPU memory usage out of the game.
