I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hated that so much, it was forced upon you buying a car, pre race, even with cars gifted to you, it was like having a feckin virus with ads popping up in your face all the time.

It was so bad owning pre homologated cars, i just hated having to remove all the mods and start ground up with the cars.

Yeah one of the few positive things about FM2023, homologation completely ruined FM7. Although it arguably got replaced with something equally as stupid.

I'm in total agreement, homologation was really dumb and defeated the purpose of tuning your car up the way you want. Granted you could always undo the homologation and create your own but you always had to essentially be at the top of a given class and sometimes I don't want to add any more to my car than it already has.

Now all they need to do is make the career races have an optional longer setting, because there just aren't enough laps to make me want to do the career mode a second time

Yeah, its better than homologation, but the initial unlocks are a bit garbage, You get offered a few engine mods on lev 1,

Initially on the road car races, i am seeking better brakes, differentials, anti-roll bars, tyres and making the car lighter.
