150% resolution scaling is the answer
So my game was looking kinda bad, like my res wasnt 1080p. I looked into everyting. My resolution was set to 1080p full screen, no fsr (AMD GPU), dynamic render quality set to medium (digital foundry found that low is 720p medium 1080p high 1440p ultra 4k) even changed it to high and ultra but i was only getting worst fps and the image quality stayed the same or imporvet just a tiny bit.

So my game was pixeladed the edges were terible but then i joined the formula mazda event and i could see my tieres edges were so jagged and disgusting my eyes were burning, so i changed the resolutiin scale to 150% and now it looks amazing.

Somethig interesting and worth mentioning is that on 150% the game is more stable than 100% before i could see drops and little stutters now it works amazin and also if i go 175%-200% the fps drops like crazy 14 for 175% and 9 for 200%.

So yeah try this and let me know how it works for you. For me this just made my game so much better and easy on the eyes.

still thats not the answer

I doubt the effect will be better than just using 100% sharpen from your AMD driver, which has 0fps effect, unlike rendering the game at 1440p to play in 1080p, which you are doing by setting the resolution to 150% or 200%. The game is muddy because of the abomination called TAA Anti-Aliasing. It's utter garbage and makes game look like cartoons. Even if you render the game at 8K it will still look like a mobile game compared to 4K in lets say...ACC

That's why in my comparison video with PC2, a 7 year old game, the difference in sharpness of the textures is like I am comparing Project Cars 2 to NFS Shift.

You do realize that the render quality settings depend on your native resolution right? The DF video assumes a 4K display, and realistically you shouldn't run this at anything other than native output, then use DLSS/FSR2 scaled or native.

just be aware that if you change to anything above 100% it will reset DLAA or DLSS to OFF and then if you put it to ON (DLAA/DLSS) it will put Resolution on AUTO...i'm in that infinite loop....it works what you say but now i'm not sure of what's the game showing

Wrong. Not the answer. Especially as your other settings are all wrong and 150% res scale will kill FPS if you are doing it correctly. Either way, WRONG

I'm on amd and I don't use fsr

Yea, because the TAA makes everything look like crayon...
Just make sure you are not sacrificing FPS for resolution scale above 100%
At least that's what I do. Increase resolution until I drop below 75 fps.

Thank you mate. Changing the resolution scale to 150% has totally fixed the FPS drops for me using a 6800xt and 5600x on a 3440x1440. I don't know why this works, it doesn't make sense but I am now getting a locked 60fps even with RT Reflections, which was in no way possible before!

Same for me. The dynamic render at medium and then resolution scaling to 200%. Game looks great now (apart from the weird car lighting at times)

In benchmarks I get stable 60fps using that. Ryzen 5 3060 with a 4070 at 1080p.

Your suggestion actually worked. Running it on my PC with a R5 3600 and 2070 Super, locked to 72fps for Freesync. Previously on 100% resolution scale, the game would stutters for me for no reason, sometimes the fps is down to the 40s. Besides the obvious in the benchmark when driving down the start/finish straight, another easiest to test is to drive down the straight towards Eau Rouge at Spa circuit. With 150% the benchmark at Hakone miraculously doesn't stutter down the start/finish straight, the same also happens for my custom test at Spa, driving towards Eau Rouge. However due to the increased scale, I no longer able to maintain a steady 72fps, the fps overs around 60-72 depending on the situation. But considering how annoying the stutters are, it is a small price to pay, and anything above 60 is good in my book.
