Terrible AI

I am not playing Forza Motorsports, I am playing Forza Demo Derby. I'm minding my own business, guy in front brake checks me, I get rear ended, then I get side swiped, T-boned off the track, and anytime I pass someone they cut over to hit me! WTF is this!? Not to mention, I get the warning when they hit me! I see some of them actually "see" me, but most of the time that feature doesn't seem to work.

ya, they seem hell bent on revenge if you bump them too. Them cutting over for no reason when im passing happens way too frequently.

AI is savage. Oh wells. Maybe they will tune them a bit. But yeah, expect them to be savages.

AT least they haven't learned the track limits, so use those as much as you can. Not a solution in all scenarios, but us humans gotta do what we can.

You need to change Drivatar to level 8 (Max)
its not as hard as you think it is and theres a legit improvement to the AI

I knew it. I'll be trying to overtake and even on a simple straightaway they will swerve off the racing line and slam me. The AI are bonkers.

ya, ive kept playing and have also noticed that the game will say you will win the race in any position, but you'll have a car thatll finish with a 10 second lead when you are having a great run. then itll say youll finish in 5th when you start in 3rd and then i'll have a 10 second lead in first.

Its just trying to train you for your inevitable first online foray! Its a perfect one to one representation of the current multiplayer....you know, how drug companies list every side effect of their product in an attempt to normalise them within acceptablity
Also, the guys in multiplayer think they're playing in career! Its a bizarro world out there

i've been playing with them at 8 all along, i just go 24th to start, because yes... they are insane and i miss the old drivatars(never thought i'd say that), at least if their drivers were good you weren't in as much of a derby or deathrace 2k.

That's exactly what I was thinking it felt like! LOL After Forza 5 i haven't touched multiplayer since.

I've also noticed that it's worse on the Catalunya track. Every other track it's just bumps usually. On Catalunya, they are doin the pit maneuver on me, running themselves off the track then running me off the road to get back onto the track. It's insane! Even on level 8!

Frustratingly good fun, athough the game has taught me not to bother qualifying anymore. I'll start in last and watch the carnage unfold in front of me. A top 10 is reward enough for me. I think this is what happens when you want your product to appeal to the widest demographic of arcade and simracers alike. Game is making me believe I'm a masochist

After I switched to highest difficulty I could not stop laughing ... the AI was just throwing it's cars of the track like crazy ... Diff 8 is way easier than 7 because of that.

I WAS WONDERING IF THAT AS IT!? i noticed them runnin off the road more too! LOL
