Skill issue in NASCAR
How is it possible that I'm loosing 2s from a lap in round NASCAR races? In other races I pretty much always have good pace. Its a rare occurance when I met really fast player who will destroy me. But in NASCAR im usually 6-10 place. Whats the secret?

I think Nascar cars due to the nature of the circuits that they race on, namely: ovals, have to have very specific car setups.

When I was playing Nascar games many years ago I once looked into the car setups in those games like NASCAR '99 or whatever, and they had the wheels setup very specifically, of course now I cannot remember what it was precisely but I think that the toe and caster were setup in a very specific way, so...

You might want to look on the net if there are any Nascar car setup explanations available and look what you can pickup and apply from there?

My two cents, check your downforce and gearing.

For ovals setting up for speed is obvious and usually a little understeer is preferable.

And not only the setup is important. Using slipstream is crucial. You have long gears, you use slipstream to push the car in front of you. The car in front of you gains speed, because you pushed it. You gain speed, because the slipsteam pulls you.

Kinda scary to bumpdraft in forza tbh. I was trying to do it before but its so weird. And I've stoped doing it after one time when dude lost control and went straight into barrier during Le Man race after I've bumped him :steamhappy:

The secret is aerodynamics. My best position in NASCAR was 5th position, around 22" the leader.
