invertir ffb en el juego
esto me sirvio para mi
Bit rich that when I raised many of these exact issues you jumped down my throat to defend this POS, particularly the piss poor physics, oh the times are changing it seems.....
Think you need to make up your mind and stop trashing people just to defend the indefensible, or trashing peoples choice of hardware for your own amusement...
And FYI it IS possible to get the FFB feeling good, I can get it pretty close to the feel I get from AMS2's custom FFB files, it's just utterly inconsistent and drops out all the time for no apparent reason plus, it just takes 2-3 hours working out what does what but ofc, we're all idiots to expect a game to work properly on the hardware we choose. You know the hardware it's actually been released on, such as officially supported resolutions or, is that too much to ask for £90..?
FYI I'm a warranty level trained, 30 year time served electronics repair technician with experience working on TV, video, Hifi, camcorders, mobile phones, PC hardware, Network hardware and tier 2 desktop support and troubleshooting PC hardware for Nuclear power stations, also including beta testing several games pre release and actually having an impact on the finished product.
I'm also pretty well known in the AMS2 discussions for helping people fully resolve some of the very few issues that have yet to be fixed by the miniscule dev team working on a seriously tight budget, whilst the Behemoths of T10 and MS with a comparatively infinite budget can't be bothered to properly test their own products.
I've even kept strangers PC's running by donating hardware when theirs fails or doesn't meet the minimum specs, (one of them for almost 15 years until he was finally able to afford to buy new components just last year).
I'll also run one on one training sessions in my own time to assist players to improve their in game performance and have done so for 16 years or more.
Yet I don't ridicule, belittle or laugh at people who might not know something I do or being unable to reach a higher level on their own.
Sure I assume most people don't know many things I'm aware of yet, I don't wade in and make sarcastic, snide comments immediately. I ask a question to establish their ACTUAL level of knowledge and make suggestions based on that.
Not ONCE did I ever say 1080p was 4k what I ACTUALLY said was "Watch the vid @4k and you'll see the fps counter bottom left of the screen".
As you said yourself so derisively "Start with reading first" but I'll also add this, absorb the context, not just the few words you CHOOSE to see.
Yet you chose to ridicule me for YOUR incorrectly assumed, backwards understanding of what I ACTUALLY said and make out others are idiots for your own amusement.
I did indeed say I can get FM to feel like AMS2 CUSTOM FFB, followed immediately by mentioning the FFB dropouts and it took me 2-3 hours working out what does what in the context of FFB, yet failed to add visuals and car tuning plus the forced wait for the unskippable cutscenes which added to the timescale going outwith the refund window, sorry my bad.
It IS quite simple, the game was NOT "fine in it's original form" and certainly NOT for everyone including Chris Esakis' statements including "Full support for Ultrawide, Super Ultrawide, Triple screen and entry level to high end gaming hardware" and with it's "Self trained AI that's done THOUSANDS of laps on EVERY track", all in order to make it what? 13 seconds faster the the AI in it's predecessor, it quite CLEARLY was none of these or it wouldn't have the lowest ever player ratings seen by the previous 7 titles in the series. And wouldn't have had T10 staff deleting many complaints as they were caught doing right after launch in an effort to inflate player rating stats.
Waffling about software/hardware/BIOS issues to an electronics hardware technician? ROFLMAO yet again.
Simply put the game hasn't worked as we were lead to believe form launch.
Yes every update does indeed add fixes and risks creating others, yet properly testing said updates can, and does, remove more issues than it creates, such as all the AMS2 beta testers (myself included) that Reiza utilises specifically to make sure there are more positive steps than regressions and, that the game functions on the wide variety of hardware out in the real world rather than just the consoles and the PC's in the developer offices.
At the very outset Reiza made it abundantly clear AMS2 was and likely always will be a WIP (Work In Progress), with the intended goal of consistently improving the game with every update and to continue doing so plus bringing new for years to come.
This is precisely why I cite AMS2 with it's 92% approval rating and rising, whilst FM languishes in the low 40% range and is currently even below 50% on the very systems it was specifically designed for i,e, the XSX and XSS and flopping as much as you do from good to bad and back again.
I also acknowledged there has been performance improvements in FM, but again, not for everyone and there seems to be more bugs added than T10 get fixed with each update.
It's like T10 just say "F**k it, that'll do! fire it out and see what happens".. Rapidly followed by yet MORE people suffering as a direct result. Or.
Adding a feature to the game months after launch that effectively disabled the game for people using hardware that matches the minimum spec performance wise or betters it without warning then abandoning them entirely rather than addressing the issue or offering compensation or refund options of any kind.
So I'm perfectly aware of how updates work and the positive impacts of GOOD, properly tested updates vs the negative impacts of a complete lack of meaningful testing of updates prior to their release, the former more often than not, means a trend of progressive improvements, rather than the stagnation and regression seen with FM.
Hence your own flip flopping from defending the indefensible to ridiculing it the next instant whilst deriding those of us with the temerity to complain because we have issues that you might not, and all just for your own "Amusement".
Seeing a pattern yet?
As for only posting in steam discussions only? Nope... I've raised several tickets and posted on their own forums as well, but, I gave up after realising that the state of this game and it's perpetual downward trend from as the game staggers from disaster to catastrophe, coupled with the majority of staff, including department heads, currently and desperately working to fix the innumerable flaws whilst being completely new to the title, all because MS/T10 don't want to provide "workers benefits" enshrined in law, all of those staff coming in cold and handed a Turd sandwich and told "Turn this into chocolate Gateuax ASAP!".. Like THAT's gonna work.
All this? It basically means it'll take YEARS to be fixed and function as we were lead to believe it would from day one, I'm here merely to try and alert people to this developers' garbage attitude to it's paying customers and their egregious lies in an effort to garnish our hard earned cash.
Then you have Reiza who had 2 staff members on either side of the conflict in Ukraine when all hell broke loose, who STILL managed to get the modern F1 unlicensed models into the game whilst in the midst of a warzone, then Renato got BOTH of them out of that particular mire and to safety in Brazil.
Money grabbing, shareholder pandering, sheer greed vs a company that actually cares about it's staff, customers and it's product above all else...
All of this gives you the right to, as I said previously, trash and ridicule people one second, then flip flop faster than a Mexican jumping bean, to lambast the developers in kind when FINALLY your hardware/software/BIOS starts feeling the same pain as many have had since day one?
Just a TAD hypocritical of you don't you think?
