Game looks blurry, not smooth despite high frame rates

I have a 4080 Super and a good gaming pc, which enables me to run most games at high frame rates. With Forza Motorsport I can get 140 fps with everything on max, but despite this the game does not look smooth, the fps looks much lower and the other cars and track looks a bit blurred despite having motion blur turned of. This is spoiling the game for me. Any ideas? Many thanks in advance.

A video I just saw the other day was talking about how TAA causes graphics to have ghosting trails and makes games overall look worse. I haven't played FM in a few months, but is there an option for TAA that can be disabled?

I have the same issue. 4080 super, shows 60FPS, but looks like maybe 20 at times and stutters at several tracks no matter what settings the display is on.

Wish I had an answer for you, other than it has been reported and "marked as solved" for a hot minute with no fix.

The next update is either going to fix it, or make it so bad that they can't pretend it doesn't exist anymore.
