Would you recommend for single player?
Since it is on sale I was wondering if this game has enough content just for singleplayer. Since I played a lot of FH5 I want to avoid multiplayer as much as possible.

Depends on what you'd like to do. If you want a long well structured career, no. If you want pitched battles against the AI, I find no issue with the AI, but some hate it...so you're mileage may vary. But if you would like to say, lap Brand Hatch in a GT3 and then compare driving that car against a Viper ACR, and then trying to best both is a supercharged old school NSX then this game is for you.

if you want to rinse and repeat freeplay (in relation to FH5 constantly rinse and repeat 1 APEX race until your brain pops) or rivals for the whole entire time accross all avaliable tracks and their variants, then yes it should satisfy you.
however do factor in it is a Track Racer and only a track racer (So "APEX" racing ONLY)

FH5 Weekly resets is more robust however with Variety of activities, so you gotta lower that expectectation but both games have FOMO in it where FH5 does it on a weekly basis and more elaborate & motorsports does it on a month & a half basis

If we are going on FOMO and what is layed out for the month by each gaming studio TURN 10 vs Playground games for single player activities

FH5 = 15 hours per month
FM23 = 8 hours per month and a half

FM23 has the additional Game mechanic of Car progression (In other words CASH
From FH5 lol, you play you get funds you upgrade ) which is kinda where you be devoting your solo play hours to and thats additional playtime on top of the mandatory 8 hours per month and a half .... Incased in the confines of walls of track limits
anti socially driven

where FH5 additional hours are equated From Free Roam and mingling in the community & Drag racing at festivals, touge drifting on the mountain run, High speeds run along the Ocean line & down the superspeed High way, or Mexico Cruises with the community with their decked out highly tuned Cars, Bouncing off walls in Hotwheels lands & Chucking your car and thrashing it though The Rally Map
very socially driven

Oh Theres No eventlabs/ seasonal playground games/ Horizon arcarde events/ Auction House/ Eliminator/ horizon tours/ Street events / baja,rally,drag, drift, speed camera, speed zone, danger signs obviously in FM

so theres no Custom things here made by the community for the community other than liveries & tunes

If you played alot of FH5 it would mean you already played with every car and know how they Drive, Think of FM as an incredibly glued down race car of your 900 Car garage from horizon at highest point of upgrades with racing tamed physics in mind as FM has only like 580 + of those cars. with only race spec vehicles separating the titles ... and you will see both developement teams rinse and repeat content through both games at the same time if not a month apart.

If you do buy it think of FH5 stock cars to be more forgiving and better handling than stock cars of FM
and race cars of FM to be very good handling and feel to it whereas FH5 race cars are overly absurd arcadey feel
Good point 😁 I am a sucker for rivals

It's also a very good controller racing game. It's only okay on a wheel though.
