Dynamic Rendering
Hi everyone. I would like to ask you, in the specific case of Forza Motorsport, what is meant by Dynamic Rendering? Are we talking about environmental graphic improvement? Or is it also about the polygonal quality of cars?

"Dynamic render quality' is a settings presets in which there are some options which you can't directly change in the Graphic Settings tab.

Thank you. So if, for example, you were to absurdly set Dynamic Rendering Quality to "low" quality but set "car quality" to "ultra", would the cars be equally high quality? And the fact that in the replays the billboards are sometimes in very low definition and even without texture? what can it be?

I looked into the configuration files, it seems like Car model quality and Car texture quality could be set directly from the Graphics menu and should overwrite the Dynamic quality preset.
Note: Low and Medium options uses texture resolution 1024 for the player's car and 512 for others. High is 2048 for player's car. 1024 for others. Ultra is 4096 for player's car, 1024 for others.

Billboards are regulated by Track texture quality and maybe there is some impact from your storage speed. I myself using Medium setting in this one (I have a stuttering at some places with High on my RTX 3070, looks like 8 GB of GPU RAM is not enough) and yes, sometimes billboards are low resolution.

I also have the same GPU as you. Just now, by pure chance, I was reading a discussion on Reddit, where it was said that FM does not specify that Dynamic Rendering on low is used for 720P resolution, medium 1080P, high 2K, Ultra 4K and then it also said that Digital Foundry had done of the tests and specified that many problems are solved if you manually choose the individual settings and remove all the "automatic" settings. In fact, by doing this, I set Dynamic Rendering to "High" and then I set the graphics settings according to my tastes, I can tell you that in this way I was able to put complete ray tracing even with ambient occlusion (the latter set to medium )

Yes, I knew about this from the Digital Foundry video too. And I'm using High in Dynamic rendering, my screen resolution is 1440p.

Exactly, I didn't know that! I just discovered it, I rediscovered a game because I had practically abandoned it due to its too fluctuating performance. I hope they add HDR support too

There is HDR support, I'm playing with it enabled since the game release.

Don't use anything "Dynamic" set all graphics options to something MANUALLY and set Anistropic Filtering to 16x.

Is it enabled by default? because I can't find it in the graphics settings

I think exactly this should always be done

Yes, it is enabled automatically for me. HDR must be on in the Windows display settings for it to work.

Ok, I did it from there in fact. I was asking because instead in Forza Horizon 5 even if you activate it from the system, you also have to activate it from the game's graphics settings menu

Just look under image settings there will be an hdr brightness slider when activated.
