Ferrari 488 GTB reward issues

I finished the new open world cup tour and the final race, the race where i claim my reward is still locked and gave me the message : 'you do not have the ferrari 488 gTB in your garage and can not enter this event.' I figured it was because i had the difficulty up and only got a silver trophy in a couple of the events leading up to it. I went back and redid them and got gold trophies and I still do not have the car and receive the error message.

Has anybody else had this issue? Maybe the game bugged out because I didn't gold trophy them the first run and didn't recognize when I repeated them and got gold? I don't know what happened. I went to the support in the game. Guess what it gives you? a QR code. geez. no thanks. I have the feeling it would be a drawn out process to get the car that I earned according the rules the game set up. I would like the car but not have to jump through hoops to get it. I doubt they read this forum but maybe if others are having the issue it will get fixed? I don't even know anymore. I went from loving this game to being upset at the clown show that it truly is after the honeymoon phase ended.

I wonder if you can buy that Ferrari and sell it afterwards if you don't want it. Personally, I got as a reward to race in Open Tour Reward Showcase, so it's just one race in that Showcase. Given as the PI 758, 2015 Ferrari 488 GTB. Edit: Currently I don't see it in the store.

I don't think you can purchase it. Unless I somehow missed it. I think its an exclusive limited time reward for that event.

I think you are right. Not sure if replaying the entire series would help. I replayed one and it was OK. But you tried and it didn't work. Sorry.

Puzzling. You guys didn't have any problems getting Reward Showcases (cars) in Modern, Enthusiast, Power, and Legacy Tours. It seems Open Class Tour is a problem. The only difference I see is that all career tours have 4 series of races and 1 Showcase. First four tours count 4 possible trophies and Reward Showcases are no trophies. But the 5th, Open Class Tour, has 4 series of races and one Reward Showcase (1 race in 488 GTB). Strangely, Open Class Tour is counted for 5 trophies. Did you guys have any problems getting other showcase or gift cars? Most recently, while I played Maximum Velocity as a part of Prestige Tour I've got a gift car (2017 Acura NSX S-class) not sure why, but it's welcome.
