THIS, idk after the patch on the 12th which i didint even know about it. cause i started too play the game again today too see if the patched solved the fps drop problem? it did not...
But instead of disabling SAM in amd drivers? I went in bios turn off SAM and 4g encoding and started the game up and ran it YEP those low fps and drops are now GONE!....
So yea the devs forsure needs too look into that ISSUE that also happen with their last 2 games horizon 4 and 5 till it was fixed.
Cause it sucks having that disabled just for one game cause that impacts other games performance by a good bit...
But now its fully playable maxed out with ray tracing and 5120x1440p and geting about the right fps with those settings. high 60s and up too 80s does not drop in the 50s or 40s or 30s now as it used too on any setting i tried even LOW.
5800x 64gb ram 7900xtx.
If you rolled back to 23.9.3 you wouldn't need to handicap your system on BIOS level.
SAM is very useful for majority of games.
Thing is i played sense the game first came out early start and had the problem sense than till yea turning it off in bio that solved it..... i tried all the drivers up till now threw out and turning off sam in drivers and still had the problem.. And yep i know it will handicap others which really why they need too solve this... lol
Amd 6000 and up does support and have hardware ray tracing by the way ;) amd is just back when it comes too performance with ray tracing compare too nvidia.
