Those of us with newer hardware "7840" with 780m graphics has the same issue. It doesn't have anything to do with the age of your hardware with this particular issue.
My bad, my comment was longer than it should have been. If you have a newer gpu, chances are you have newer drivers, since it seems AMD prioritizes newer hardware customers. It makes sense to me.
What does not makes sense is Turn 10 pushing out an update ahead of their customers' driver capabilities.
Don't let them! If they close it, reply and it will be reopened.

I'm afraid it's time to start saving for a new GPU, boys.
It's absurd that even current gen GPU owners need to wait for driver updates and hope that will make the game START. If all other games work on your system and this one doesn't, then screw it and don't waste your time. T10 are supposed to provide a working product not rely on AMD and Nvidia to make their game work...
before update I got around 50-60 fps in 1080p low with my rx580. CPU is ryzen 5 2600
