CAN'T PASS FIRST SPLASH SCREEN FIX FOR RX580

I'm using a RX 580, since update 1.0 -2.0 i racked up about 441 hours of playtime... but since update 3.0 i’ve not been able to launch the game. and update 5.0 just give me an error code ( Unsupported graphics card detected code AP205 ) Failed to create D3D12 Graphics device… can’t even get a refund because i have 441 hours playtime...

this worked for me, you have to scroll down to see the below text then click the blue writing that says AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 23.10.01.14 for DirectX®12 Agility SDK Driver Version for Windows® 10 and Windows® 11 then the driver will start downloading. i used the amd clean up tool to remove my old drivers first..

I just built my new PC for playng Forza Motorsport. Since it was anounced the minimal requirements, It said a VGA with minimal 4GB RAM, like RX 480. I wish it was not able to play since the launch. It was a real mistaque from Microsoft

Got asseto Corsa, get contents from FM2023 like cars and tracks, play and wait for an official steam deck verification (hopefully within a year)

i just dont like the handling of acc feels like the cars floating when you turn, beam ng online is my go 2 for racing in, and we have the nürburgring from acc and other tracks

I've officially been told by both Turn 10 and Steam Support teams that I can go ♥♥♥♥ myself because my RX 480 is below minimum requirements. I still fail to see how I could have know that 3 months after launch my GPU would be made obsolete by a decision of the developer to switch to Direct X12.1. Next time a Forza title launches I'll light a $100 bill on fire and get the same result as I have with Motorsport.

Not sure about the DX 12.1 explanation, I have the same issue since update 3 with my Vega 56 capable of running DX 12.1... Sounds more like planned obsolessence to me.

The game is no longer playable, correct, due to them foisting DX12.1 onto you?
Doesn't matter if you have 500hrs or 1 million. The game is no longer compatible with your hardware, but at release, it was. Should be a matter for your consumer affairs department to work out with T10/Microsoft and Valve.

Alternatively, blacklist this idiotic developer and never buy from again.
