CAN'T PASS FIRST SPLASH SCREEN FIX FOR RX580

I'm using a RX 580, since update 1.0 -2.0 i racked up about 441 hours of playtime... but since update 3.0 i’ve not been able to launch the game. and update 5.0 just give me an error code ( Unsupported graphics card detected code AP205 ) Failed to create D3D12 Graphics device… can’t even get a refund because i have 441 hours playtime...

Can you try rollback your AMD drivers to version 23.10.01.14.

this worked for me, you have to scroll down to see the below text then click the blue writing that says AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 23.10.01.14 for DirectX®12 Agility SDK Driver Version for Windows® 10 and Windows® 11 then the driver will start downloading. i used the amd clean up tool to remove my old drivers first..

Alt + Enter then drag the window around till it enters the main menu. it worked for me.

thanks for info but that don't work for me.. i cant get past the tiny splash screen window that comes up before the game goes into its full screen loading mode.

i know atleast with the day before you are able to launch the game and play it LOL

For the black screen issue at start of the game after update 3. I had the same issue, after turn10 intro, nothing just a black screen.
I have FM running in full screen mode. During black screen, I press windows key to get windows menu then click back to the game. After several times doing that, I saw a message in the black screen (either "signin successfull" or "checking update") and I continue to do this silly action, open windows menu and go back to game.
And it finally start !
After game started, go to graphic settings and choose V-sync ON.
For me, it works and now I can start the game without playing with windows menu.

yes, i can confirm, V-sync ON helped me too. Game starts without freezing or any black screen whatsoever. Thank you stranger.
