Touring "spec" racing yet if you choose the right car you're automatically seconds faster than others even if you cannot drive to save your life. The idiots at Turn 10 need to visit a TCA race and fix their horrible game. Also side note, stop allowing us to drive tracks backwards... go to a racetrack and ask if they ever drive it backwards... you'll be laughed out of the complex.

It is mostly due to the car leveling system. I notice I join lobbies and since I am not high level or using that car often I don't have all the tuning upgrades unlocked. I see people in the touring lobbies with 720 while I am 704 because my car level is 10.

Don't need to be on the podium either just finishing online races gives a lot.

Your car level doesn't matter in the spec races. The cars are 720/704/whatever because that's what turn 10 set them as.

I agree the touring races seem to have a discrepancy in performance. In the Subaru which I started with people were absolutely blowing past me on the straights.

My car level is 50, I've maxed 2 TCR's out so far, separate liveries. The GOLF and AUDI are absurd. I drove the GOLF on Watkins Glen Short and was automatically 1-1.5 seconds faster than the Type R that is tuned. The GOLF handles so well on a stock tune and it has so much power its stupid. It lets you get away with murder on any track

No point in boasting an absolutely monstrous car roster if players won't touch anything but the one or two they'll use for multiplayer because how dare players allow others to equal them on the track.

Yeah, these feel like pay to win. The fastest cars are those for extra money.
