At this point I do not even consider this as an alpha in early access, thanks god it is included in gamepass...
If I recall from past games with cretin controllers the axes get set dynamically as you drive. I would start an event and as soon as the green light hit slam the break all the way down a few times then restart the event. This would set the axis range of movement in the game. I would have to to this each time I quit the game and came back. It's a PITA but it used to work for me.
Yep I just figured out that if you start a wet session in freeplay/test drive you just do not get them, for a race it's there though. Just logged a bug... I feel it is not going to be the last...
Check the car setting if something feels off.
Brake pressure means, you have a larger way to press until full brake pressure applies.
Standard is 100%, which is weird. So the way the brake pedal needs to be pressed is very short.
Reduce it :)
That's not how it works. 85% pressure means you have less braking power which will, ultimately, making you lose time. The thing you describe (and what the author would need) is brake linearity which we do not have as an option in-game, you could work that out with Steam Input (or whatever software comes with your equipment) though by adjusting the response curve.
Take a look at the tooltip of the tuning setting for brake pressure. It's mentioned there. =)
weird, I''ve definitely got functioning wipers in rainy conditions in game. There is even a slightly audible thump as they go back and forth.
The rain droplets on the windshield also get pushed the windshield by the wind.
