Fps drop after a few races

I had a suspicion that it was a video memory leak, but even at low graphics settings my 3070 starts dropping frames. only restarting the game helps. Has anyone else experienced this?

yeah I'm having the same issue. I have a 3080 and like you said after a few races my fps drops down to the twenty's and it gets laggy. Hoping when they release the drivers for the game it will fix the issue. we shouldn't be having one.

It is wide spread accross a multitude of hardware setup. Just tweaking the settings might drop the benchmark FPS to low 30 after a while, even if you set all to low. I experienced that, game was running above 60 at high and after trying to get a bit more I got stucked in the 30s whatever I changed until I just refunded the game, just to see a lots of technical analysis the next day pointing to such issues (see DF they made a pretty good summary of the issue). Also DLSS/DLAA bring no gain in any fashion.

And you have the audacity to flag this as an answer to the author, what a joke.

I cant even log in to this website. I get low FPS after about 2 races. Its unplayable this way. Payed 100 bucks for this...

...and with a reply like this, there is no patch coming. They obviously don't have a clue what's happening. I think it's universal, but many people just don't notice.

I think they misspelled that it is a game specific issues that most users have and that they need to massively improve optimization as even a 4090 runs it terrible at 1080p.

IMO this is the biggest thing they need to fix, tired of having to restart the game after every race to get my performance back. Also, you can see it degrade after every race just by looking at the main menu fps, fresh start is 75 fps, race, 55 fps, race, 32 fps, unplayable race…

It boggles my mind that this person is a developer for this game. No wonder it doesn't work.
