None of these are playable on controller, so yea, please keep going.
I hated The Crew I/II because of the flat handlings and empty/copy paste map, but The Crew motorfest is clearly on another level.
The Crew Motorfest in terms of realism is on par with something more like Trackmania, than Forza Motorsport. The sounds might be fantastic but it's not what people playing Forza Motorsport want.
FM4 and NFS Prostreet here I come.
My favourite racing game on PC is Pacer, which is very similar to Wipeout. Its not for everyone, but the gameplay is fantastic. Unfortunately the multiplayer is completely dead.
I would love to have a more mainstream game with a healthy multiplayer scene.
Project Cars 2 and ACC are entirely playable on controller
Literally all of these are playable on controller. Iracing is maybe a bit of a mixed bag but it's doable with some practice. I would even argue that Acc and ams2 play better on controller than forza does. Forza is overdampened and doesn't not allow for any advanced controller settings like Acc does for example.
PC2 is not. The speed sensitive steering is very bad. You have to tune the controller not only per car but also per track. For ACC I can't comment from 1st hand but I can't find any good videos online AT ALL, so I don't think it's viable there either.
Seems like a great game though otherwise - would highly recommend if you have a wheel.
They are different racing subgenre.
I would agree FH3 is better than 4 and 5.
I don't know any open world racer better than FH3.
So I guess my answer to your question is no.
My favorite arcade track racer is Driveclub.
For simcade track racing, seems GT7 is better than FM8 in its current state.
Hope for lots more patching.
AC, ACC, Projectcars 2, IRacing, Automobilista 2, these are all sim track racers.
I wouldn't even compare them with simcade.
Damn it! you got me wanting to go back and play FH3.
Stop putting good ideas in my head! :)
