Have you tried turning off hyperthreading? It really helped my 12700,nice and smooth now, using a nvme drive.6-cores seems to be optimal according to Digital Foundry and my personal testing...
I did disable hyper-threading and unfortunately it did nothing to my performance without the stress tests again.
Disabled the E-Cores in Bios and now the game runs buttersmooth. The Game seems to bind cpu-task to e-cores instead of p-cores on win10. I heard Win11 is better for 13th gen.
This solved it for me, thanks!
13600KF (4070) win10
Hey man just wanted to say thank you, that was exactly the issue. Disabled e-cores when i got home and the game runs buttersmooth. Kinda sucks we need to gimp our cpu's though but until it gets ironed out, at least there is a way to play.
You the real MVP!
good to hear it worked for you guys too. you could mark my thread as "best answer" so other people running into the same issue with 13th gen, can solve it too. i even experienced other games like ac mirage, which had stuttering/lags too also did got buttersmooth after disabling e-cores.
