Anyone else having the track textures dissapear?

This is the one reoccurring problem I have with this game that really drives me crazy.. And it usually happens on the last laps of a race, when I'm in a dog fight with another car. I was something like 1/2 mile from finishing the race with the Ford GT, on LeMans when it happened again. It's impossible to see where you're going with a damn invisible track. You can MAYBE do it if you have full racing line on, but otherwise youre screwed if this happens.

The other jank I can maybe handle, but this is game breaking.

The game is running great for me,

I have seen other posts about this happening to people though. They all seem to have high end systems like yours too.

Hopefully there will be a good day 1 patch that fixes these issues for people.

Yes, infinite loading too.. the game needs a lot of fixes, besides the AI is very dumb

Yes, happened to me only once so far. It started with the objects outside the track disappeared. Some weird stuff until the race track texture itself disappears and you don't know where you are going. Reloading the race fixed it.

happened for me in multiplayer, 90% of all the track was gone and i was suppose to play safe ...

I have seen this happen only once, thankfully, on the 5th lap of the Miami circuit during a Career race (but not during the Practice). The track has 2 or 3 'chunks' missing near the start/finish line where I could see the starry night sky through it. The trackside hoardings were also disappearing as the car highlight beam crossed them.

I've also seen some low-res car livery textures and signs during races and cutscenes and wonder if these are part and parcel of the same texture bug?

13700K + 4090, it happened also to me too. After that I disabled all the dynamic graphics settings and set almost everithing to max with DLSS quality and played for an afternoon without any bugs.

I am afraid your pc falls below the minimum specs.

FR I dunno I am about to install and see how it is lol, it is pretty funny how there are all these people saying it your pc and not the game when it looks no better than fm7 lol.

Altho I did see most people having those issues in videos and reviews.

*edit, I played it and firstly, on all max settings this game looks noticeably worse than fm7, yet doesnt run good on any existing hardware even at 1080p. the good news is that it only seems to use 3 cores and threads as the rest of my cpu was literally sitting at 0%. This is too be expected of forza I suppose as their games always struggle to use more than 1 core, 4 on a good day. Ram and Vram useage seemed decent aswell.

and most importantly you can change settings without reloading.

having said that, as it is apparently online only, and optimized like ♥♥♥♥, this will no doubt be a refund. if they patch the game and make it playable normally. not online only it could be alright.
