how the game counts distance traveled?

I've noticed that the difference between the mileage readings of the car and the game are different.
I have a screenshot in my profile where the car says that I drove 41.4 km and the game says that I drove 67.38 km.

I don't understand something or the game counts strangely?

A lot of games don't do this correctly and it's usually not reliable. I know it wasn't that reliable in horizon or the crew franchise.

I know there are a few other games that also had this issue. I would not be surprised if it's still an issue in motorsport.

I guess miles vs kms (ratio ~1.6).

The car had kilometers on the dashboard.
Unless they forgot to change it not only visually but also in the logic of the game.

where can you see the distance driven for each car ? (I didn't find anywhere in the menu).

Not all have them, but for example the Porsche 718, Audi rs7 has km on the dashboard.

There is unfortunately no statistics in the menu as in previous parts where you could see each car and how much you drove it on it.
