Refresh Rate

Anyone know how to set the refresh rate to something higher than 60hz? I have a 240hz display and I'd like to take advantage of something a little higher than 60FPS. I am guess I can probably do somewhere in the 70's. Any ideas?

Performance target : unlocked, unless you are online which is locked to 60

60 fps cap in the year 2023..... no excuse. They need to put PC on its own servers so people can actually use the hardware they purchased.

Unlocked for me capped it at 60 FPS. Unlocked (v-sync) uncapped it. My display is 175Hz. There is no way to truly turn off v-sync in this game according to DF's testing. The v-sync options reduce stuttering.

the refresh settings seem to be ♥♥♥♥♥♥ sometimes. i had the same issue until i rebooted, 60fps was capping me at 30, etc.

It's funny, people are still saying that if PC players had their own servers that people get more power. Well, the reality is, most pc players are at 60 fps So you'd be at 60 fps buddies.

A few people have reported that their actual refresh rate is higher than sixty in mp, a multiple of their monitor refresh rate, so you could get a visual update that might be faster than sixty, but the physics are still locked if we believe Microsoft. So look into some of those Threads. If you guys are concerned about you're frame rate, you might be able to get more than 60 as other people have reported.

Thanks for the replies. I figured out that My refresh rate in DIsplay Settings in Windows was set to 60hz for some reason. What that ended up doing is making performance a bit worse. I'm getting in the high 50's now instead of being locked at 60FPS. I don't know...something is weird about the performance of this game. I "only" have a 2080 SUPER and a 9900K CPU, but I think I should be doing a little better than that. I'm running the game at 1080p.

If your running all ultra settings that would be about right if I'm honest for things currently, but will get better with time no doubt, I mean Forza does end up one off the best optimized games... eventually.

if you use Unlocked (Vsync) game will cap it to 60FPS many times, the only way to get back to normal FPS is going to window mode and back again, i tested that as i saw it was DF recommended but no

you have to put your monitor into 100hz mode for the game to lock multiplayer to lock to 100fps. anything above 100fps will be divided by 2,4,6,8 respectively.
