Controller not working properly

So just general info to my case. I'm playing on the Microsoft Store version and I'm using a PS5 Controller with DS4Windows, but I can't find any solution so I'm hoping for help here.

When I'm in the game my controller isn't recognised until I press and hold a button (Button in bottom left also switch from keyboard to XBOX buttons). As soon as I stop pressing it, it isn't recognised anymore. All the while the inputs are normally seen on DS4Windows and this combination works flawlessy on FH5.

Anyone with the same problem or any possible solution.

I figured it out on my side. You have to install HidHide as mentioned on the DS4Windows getting started page to hide the DS5 from all applications except DS4Windows.

Forza is seeing both the DS5 inputs and the Xbox360 emulated inputs at the same time and twitching out.

1. Install HidHide
2. Reboot and leave DS4Windows closed.
3. Add DS4Windows as an whitelisted program in HidHide Configuration Client's Applications tab.
4. Check Dualsense on the devices list.
5. Enable device hiding on devices list at the bottom.
6. Close the Config window.
7. Open DS4Windows and it should show a key icon where it showed an X before in the Ex column.
8. Fire up Forza and enjoy.

I'd use an XBox Controller if I had an Xbox or if it was better than the PS5 controller, but neither is the case :D

And still can't understand how it works perfectly fine for FH 5 but ♥♥♥♥♥ the bed in this one

Same, I'm using a DS4 controller and DS4Windows.

I have to manually press enter to confirm car upgrades too, controller won't even work at all for that. Its always showing KBM controls even though I'm only inputting with a controller, its highly frustrating.

I had a problem with a PS4 controller that when I was racing, if I ever accelerated or braked while turning, the steering would straighten out, alongside the issue with the controller only being recognised while in use. To fix it, I went to settings in DS4Windows and turned on "Hide DS4 Controller." All working fine now.

I have several XBox controllers, but I prefer my PlayStation controllers. I'd use my PS5 controllers on my XBSX if I could easily do so :P.

I'm using PS4 controller, when plugged in by usb it encountered the same problem. If connecting by bluetooth it does not.
No need to use DS4windows, or install other software.
