FORZA MOTORSPORT RIP 2005 - 2023

Played them all day one always! Forza was always for gamer's who didn't want to play a sim racer but wasn't arcade either. We had 7 amazing games & all the horizon series then we get this complete pile of garbage...

You must race 3 laps minimum to qualify before you can start your race.
You get penalties for everything.
Upgrades suck.

Multiplayer...

You join a game that starts at specific times and are stuck there qualifying laps or just waiting upto 30mins for your game to start.

Sat there looking at the playlist thinking there is no good tracks or anything till tomorrow WTF is this complete garbage.

Somebody crashed me off the track and I got 2 second pen.....

There is so many other reasons this game is complete garbage but cba!

The game is amazing if you want a boring racing sim. The sound is a nice improvement the racing is great if you want to do 69 practise laps then wait 20mins for a race to start then race another 11 laps

This Isn't Forza Motorsport its complete garbage just another casualty of modern gaming!

Funny, given how people said exact same things about FM7, when it came out, and praised FM6, and the same happened with FM6, except they praised FM4.

Nah man. FM7 ain't ♥♥♥♥. FM4 and 2023 are actually best FM games we had.

I tried playing FM7 again yesterday because I thought maybe I was tripping and this game wasn't a massive step up over 7 like I felt it was.
Turns out it is though, on FM7 my M-B SL65 sounded like a lawnmower and handled like it was floating, on this game the same car sounded brutal (like a V12 TT engine should) and had really nice, weighty and grippy handling.
Sure there are some rough spots rn but with a few patches this destroys FM7.

I wouldnt say 7 amazing games. If I were to rate all games as a 2023 release I would say:

FM1 7.8/10
FM2 its basically the same but better looking 7.8/10
fm3 8.2/10
fm4 8.2/10
fm5 5/10

new forza motorsport I saw someone rate it a 3.7/10 and I think that is fair.
its easily the worst by far, but its not like all their games have been bangers as it has been going down hill for years.

I totally agree. I played almost every single FM game since the beginning (exception of FM5 on Xbone). This game is an outright joke. WHY IS EVERY RACE BONE STOCK? Why are upgrades locked behind car levels? Why do I have to do 3 practice races? I swear they made it this way so they can double the game length and sell you "time savers" DLC.

The FM forums have plenty of ppl showing how this new FM is in fact not "from the ground up" at all.

To be fair, the "Forza glue" really comes down to tire width and compound. I can tell some of you guys have never been on really good tires before IRL. Gran Turismo feels similar when you get racing slicks. These tires are designed to keep you glued to the ground even at high speeds. At any rate, FM4 was peak Forza in terms of just about everything. It's been downhill ever since.

Assisted braking, assisted steering, assisted acceleration, LOL the "game" plays itself now.

Kiinda no point racing if there's no practice and qualificatiion. These should be forced at least online.

Just like all live service games it launches in a half-baked state, and a year or so from now will be "fixed" and all will be forgiven. Players always forgive, and they never learn.

The game will do just fine.

Looking back at the old Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase 2022. What a bunch of lies T10 promised. They even showed a snippet of drag racing. Like seriously wth T10? If I hear from Esaki saying built from the ground up in the next game or in FH6, It's gonna be a bunch of the same old lies, and I can guarantee that.

It was built from the ground up for people who play racing game's with a wheel whilst wearing driving gloves & a helmet streaming themselves live on YouTube looking like complete dorks.

I'm over it uninstalled forza is now dead to me. Looking forward to test drive unlimited...
