No widescreen in menus?

I can race in widescreen 3440x1440, but the menus appear locked in 2560x1440. Any fixes? I've tried native resolution and also manually setting to 3440x1440, and the menus are locked in standard 4:3 format.

Quite a bummer as it breaks immersion.

You don't want ultra wide screen menus. Its better when they center them, frankly. its bad user experience when they put buttons on extreme corners of the screen.

But I hear they are going to fix some of the black boxing that was not intended.

I can live with the menu's and cut scenes but photo mode being restricted is a real pain, you lose so much.

Really, I don't want that? What else don't I want? Seriously, since you seem to know more about what I and others want enlighten us? And let me guess, you don't even use an ultra-widescreen monitor, do you? Certainly not a 32:9 where browsing things like the car selector is absurd given literally half the screen is just black.

So maybe YOU don't want that but please don't tell others what *THEY* do or don't want. UGH.

Ultimately we want full control of everything, but I don't think we will get that. What we don't want is for them to force UI elements to absolute corners of your view. When games do that, they become really difficult to work with on triple-head setups.

When things are centered, it is at least usable. Sorry if that offends people so much. (people should stop taking offense at everything, really.) There are several games that don't allow you to adjust the UI, and end up with an unusable one when you have an ultra-wide setup. I think anyone thinking logically wants to avoid that.

If you think they are going to make perfect UI for each aspect ratio, and everyone agree its nice, I don't see that happening.

I misread, OP is complaining the menus in the game aren't stretched to fit ultrawide, not that the game doesn't support ultra-wide.
