XBox Controller does not work ... ???

Hello, i can not use my XBox Controller in the game.
My Controller is connected with USB C.
Only Keyboard and Mouse works for me.
What can i do to use my controller?

have you made sure your controller is setup properly? enabled? could there be an issue with it? i plugged in my and it was good to go from the start.

the controller works fine in every other game like Forza Horizon 5.
It is not the controller it is the game.
if they do not fix it fast i will refund

I'm currently having this issue as well. It worked earlier. I left for a few hours and now it will not work no matter what.

Mine has stopped working several times mid play, and only we've gotten it to work again is by restarting the game.

Probably not the same issue as you guys. But it just seems like there might be some sporadic controller issues for some of us.

I opened the xbox app on my pc and it worked!

Click on gear icon, goto game properties, goto controller, enable steam input.

Mine works fine, it literally should have been plug and play.

unplug all other devices. with a joystick attached it cycled between keyboard and gamepad input for me.

Same problem here. Controller worked for one session, now nothing. Ironically if I disconnect the controller Forza Motorsport asks me to reconnect it. But other than that nothing... Steam input is enabled, controller works fine for everything else.

I use 2 monitors, and I have to move the mouse cursor to the other screen as soon as i launch the game. If I leave the cursor on the game window the controller moves the cursor and won't work in the game. So try moving your cursor off screen as soon as you launch the game.
